Graham Nelson is an associate at the firm.  He focuses his practice primarily on patent prosecution in a wide range of technologies, including automotive technologies, semiconductor devices, electronic circuitry, software, robotics, and augmented reality technologies.  He is also a member of the firm’s design patent practice group.  Graham has broad experience conducting all phases of prosecution for U.S. and foreign patent applications for both utility and design applications, including patent application drafting and briefing and arguing appeals at the USPTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board.  Graham works on portfolio analysis, assisting clients with infringement and validity opinions.

Graham is fluent in Japanese and is also a member of the firm's translation department, translating patent applications and client correspondence, as well as interpreting during client meetings.

Graham has over 10 years of intellectual property experience as an attorney.  Prior to joining the firm, Graham worked at another intellectual property law firm, where he filed and prosecuted applications in various technology fields.  He also lived in Japan working as a translator prior to beginning his career as an attorney.
