Gary Koo is an associate in the firm's mechanical and computer science practice group. He focuses his practice primarily on patent prosecution in a wide range of technologies including software, computer networks, imaging, business methods, automotive technologies, and aerospace technologies.

Gary started his career in intellectual property law in 2007 as an examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office where he examined patent applications and prepared office actions related to computer software. Prior to joining the firm, he also worked at a Japanese patent firm in Osaka, Japan, where he practiced U.S. patent law and provided lectures and seminars on U.S. patent law and practice.
